After the overwhelming success of the Tsunami match, it is true to say we are more than a little puzzled and disappointed with the response to the Bluebell Wood Match we have organised for 22nd May.

With only two weeks to go, we have only sold just over half the tickets with the biggest interest being shown from the Retford area.

We know that some of you have club matches on the same day, but for the rest, even if you haven’t ever fished a match before, grab a mate and give us a call to sign up.

This is unique opportunity for you to achieve international fame and recognition.

OK, that is overkill, but you get the drift.

To our knowledge, this is the only time that the Worksop and Retford Associations have worked together to facilitate such a match – so don’t let the opportunity pass you by.

Just to remind you, the Chatsworth Angling Fair is being held on 21st and 22nd May with all aspects of the sport being well represented from fluff chucking to tournament casting, including all coarse and game.

We will be going up to cover it on the Saturday, so hopefully see you all there.

Go Baits’ Wednesday evening matches started from this week, 11th May.
Draws take place at 5pm and fishing is from 5.45pm until 8.45pm.

Harold Wells at Retford AA would like us to remind you that their evening matches will be running on every Tuesday and Thursday evening from Tuesday the 31st of May on Woodside Lake at Lound.
The entrance fee is £8 all-in with the draw at 5pm and fishing 6pm to 9pm.
