Pendle View Beauty

This common carp was caught by Phil Bury of Bolton on the 19th October, 2006 using a Nash boilie.
This magnificent common weighed in at 39lb 8oz.

This particular fish is called Scaley and records show that it has been caught three times in recent years. The first significant catch was in September 2005 when it weighed in at 38lb 12oz. It was also caught on 25.4.2006 and weighed in at 36lb 2oz. Scaley is called such because it has two light coloured scales in a diagonal pattern.
