A new Butterley record carp

Pictured above is 16-year-old Nick Edson with a 28lb mirror carp - a new Butterley record.
Nick is currently in the sixth form at Swanwick Hall School and only began carp fishing last year. Nick used Fox Warrior XT rods and Monster Crab Boilies. He caught the fish along the Match Straight which is on the Swanwick Side.
The fish was weighed by a Club Bailiff Mr Andy Butlin.
