On 5 April 05 GWFFA's youngest member, Jack Easton, celebrated his eleventh birthday and went on his first ever fly fishing trip to Grafham Water, with his grand father Gerry Bailey, GWFFA chairman. Jack and Gerry both live in Hitchin.
Jack received some expert instruction from Anglian Water's Ray Jenkins and Alan Dalton on boat safety and a few tips on fishing techniques, which obviously proved successful.
Jack caught a brace of rainbows to a total weight of four pounds.
